The T08Y pairs the 420 hp Dongfeng dCi420-51 common-rail engine with the reinforced KC engineering platform, delivering heavier pulling power for demanding line-haul. An AMT automatic-manual variant (dCi465 + FAST 12JSDX240TA, 12-speed) is available on request.

Identical reinforced frame, steel bumper and dual-stage filtration philosophy as the T07Y, tuned for rough corridor and mining approach roads.
Factory-supported AMT upgrade to dCi465 (465 hp / 2,200 N·m) with FAST 12JSDX240TA 12-speed AMT, hill-start assist and cruise control — a powertrain already in volume production for right-hand-traffic markets.
